My top three philosophies regarding labour, birth & postpartum are:
1. Meaningful maternal movement from 30-34 weeks of pregnancy on to labour and birth is essential to improve birth outcomes. The way pregnant people move their body directly affects fetal positioning which can impact labour progress, fetal descent, malposition, fetal heart rate, c-section rates, and more.
2. My job is not to replace partners or personal support people (if present). My job is to give partners the tools and confidence to support labouring people better. I want your partner to play an active and meaningful role in your birth. You will increase your natural oxytocin feeling their voice and touch than mine.
3. The immediate postpartum and extended postpartum period deserves the proper support and attention. I want to provide the tools to protect this life changing period. If breast/chest-feeding is desired, I am extremely passionate about protecting the journey so it is not negatively impacted.

Above all, I am there for you and your family. This is your journey. I will provide you with unbiased and non-judgemental support to help ensure the best birth and postpartum experience possible.

My philosophy - This is your party... we are all just guests!

Supported 25+ families in the births of their littles, 10+ more virtually, 10+ as birth photography/videography clients, five maternity photography session, four lifestyle newborn photography sessions.

Knowledge and training on how the pelvis and pelvic floor interact with a baby to promote or hinder labour and optimal fetal position. I have connected with various health professionals, across disciplines and pulled on my own knowledge of anatomy, from my bachelor degree, to learn how meaningful body movement will impact birth experiences.
